LIPPIES OF THE WEEK :)

I was tagged (like almost a month ago) but I was probably dozing off somewhere that time so I didn't get to it as quick. So here's my LIPS OF THE WEEK! :) I was tagged by ce Rini from you know, rinicesillia.com <3

After I shot the shade swatches on these lipsticks, I noticed that everything is in the same shade, like literally, the same COLOR. But then it really justifies my taste in shade, my love for these plum shade.

First, the only neutral shade in the stack is Innisfree's CreamyMellow lipstick in #3 Cream Coral. I thought I wouldn't use it a lot during the colder months, because the color came out very warm, but turns out it matches most of my eye makeup look. It ended up in my school bag for months.

For the plums, I got my Etude House Dear My Lips in RD302, still not my favorite texture-wise. I had to mix a hella lot of lipbalm to make my lips less dry with this lipstick, but I can make it work so I keep using it. Next are 2 of my 3CE lip products, it's #604 VAMP lipstick and 3CE Lip Lacquer in #desert flower. The Vamp lipstick is similar with my EH lipstick, but it's just less red, more like brownish-dark-burgundy, and believe me that slight difference do show up.

3CE Lip Lacquer is the one that I pick when I want to make a plum gradation lips, because of the slim tip it's easier to work with. And the last one is my favorite out of the bunch, it's Maybelline's Lip Polish in GLAM6 - It's moisturizing, stays for a long time, and the color is really pretty. It's the brightest plum color out of the bunch, so when I'm feeling less fancy I usually use this :p

PLUM SHADE FTW.

REVIEW : 3CE's Face Blush in #Love Filter

Hello! How's the holiday fellas?
After the super exciting trip to Raja Ampat, I mainly just hang out with my friends - or most of the time sat down in front of my computer and watch Thai TV series "Hormones" or Korean drama "It's OK, That's Love". Both are super good tbh.

Today I'm going to review a 5 out of 5 product that I've been super duper lovin' this days - it's 3CE's face blush in #Love Filter.

I forgot how long do I keep this product in my wishlist, but never got it because I'm not a blush kinda girl. If you see my blush collection, shades that I have are similar to each other really. And that is this kinda peachy-pink color. One reason, I think this shade is the best for my feature and I think a lot of people definitely can use this kinda shade.

Described as "pearlescent coral pink" - this blush has a very beautiful warm coral pink shade, almost looks like it's orange in dim light. It had the slightest pearl infused, almost invisible to the eye, and can't see any of it when applied.

It had a beautiful satin finish, without any chunks of glitter even involved. Still, the shade is pigmented - and believe me with my skin tone (which is still considered as - dark - in Korea) looking for a blusher that actually shows color on my face is more than hard!

And the texture is 'creamy' - well it's a pressed powder but the surface is so silky smooth and it didn't appear as chalky at all. Also it didn't have many fall outs too!

Love the shade!
Creamy texture, super smooth
Good Pigmentation
Pretty Finish

none

Overall, again it's a 5 out of 5 product - I LOVE THIS. Well I might be a little bit lying if it didn't have any (-) points, it's hella pricy for a Korean brand. But again, I don't use blush a lot and I don't mind spending more for something as good as this! And the size it's bigger than my expectation - so that's nice :)

I really recommend this blush to people who are looking for a good one! And I think the shade will definitely go well with huge range of skin tones <3

REVIEW : 3CE Cover Cream Foundation in Sand Beige

Omg, it's been a while, isn't it?
I've not touching my laptop for almost 5 days now. I was in Bangkok for holiday with my family! And next week I'll have to take a plane again for (another) holiday, this time with my grandma. I think I'm bringing my laptop this time because it'll be for a whole week! Ekk!

Now I'm in my home in Indonesia! Yey! Where the internet is not too good, but definitely work-able lah. So today I'm bringing you a review for 3CE Cover Cream Foundation in Sand Beige!

This product is relatively new on the website, it was released on the offline store first and the site was updated after that. I was thrilled to see this on the site, because again if you know me, foundation, full coverage, call me in! I purchased the darkest shade out of the 3, Sand Beige.

Talking about the packaging, the foundation came in a glass jar with a matte coating over it. And the seal is attached to the cap and the glass jar. The foundation also came with a spatula, which is quite small. I usually gave up and throw away spatulas that came with a product, but this time I might have to keep it around.

Do I like the packaging? I love it so much, but in the same time I don't think it's the most practical or 'easy' to work with. The glass jar is heavy and the cap is thick too. It's not travel friendly, it takes time to use the product, and I know at the end of the day it'll left me some product I could never scoop out of the jar (Because it's a square, it's hard to get on the corners especially the upper ones)

Even though it's called a 'cream' foundation, it isn't like a regular cream foundation. It's more like liquid foundation with super thick consistency that is packed into a jar.

It's really a plus for a foundation to have high SPF, and yes this product has SPF of 30 PA++. It comes in 3 shades, "Light Vanila", "Natural Ivory" and "Sand Beige" - my shade, Sand Beige is actually a little bit too orangey for me, but Natural Ivory is definitely too light for me, so the jump between the 2nd and 3rd shade is a bummer :/

There's a plastic separator to keep the product inside.

For the product consistency, it's creamy, it's thick and it's blendable. I like to scoop some out and then dotting it all over my face and blend them with my brush. Usually I do half of my face first, and then the other.

The coverage is awesome! It covers literally everything, I almost didn't need to conceal anything. (Well, I still conceal my under eye, if not my face will be super flat). It has a dewy finish - which is unique for a foundation with high coverage to have one, but this one is super dewy, like wth. I need a ton of powder to make it matte, or at least a little bit least sticky.

For the lasting power, I think it has a decent one, can't say it's super long-lasting. Especially I have oily combo skin, and dewy foundation isn't a good match for me at all. And in this blazing summer weather, hot and humid, without primer I'm quite sure the foundation won't last on me. Thank God for primer!

During my trip to Seoul with Rini from Rinicesillia.com, I use this foundation 90% of the time and it make my face look FLAWLESS on camera.

High coverage
Looks super nice on camera
A little goes a long way
Creamy, easy to blend texture
Chic packaging

Not travel friendly, annoying packaging
Dewy finish (too dewy for my taste)
Transfers to anything that touches your skin
Pricey. Meh.

Overall, I do like this foundation - though I'm agree that this is not for daily use. Not only the whole jar thing is un-practical for everyday use, but the consistency itself is too thick. I really like my face on camera when I'm using this particular product. Oh, for the dewy-ness, I can reduce it by using my makeup sponge instead.

Thankyou so much for reading! xx Question? Leave me a comment below - or leave an email to me : mysugarcoffee@hotmail.com and follow my instagram @filiaparamita for daily updates!

REVIEW : 3CE's "I'm Good" Mascara

The last one from my 3CE's June Haul products to review! It's the "I'm Good" Mascara!

I don't usually like pink colored stuff, but it's so neon that it's stand outs from all other product and it's just so pretty to be looked at! Don't you agree?

First, the pink is definitely not as neon as the box - which is still acceptable I guess. From the claims I think it mainly claims long and curled lashes, all proof and super black, no clumps mascara.

Outside from the cute packaging, I was actually interested about the brush. Mainly because I recently got into huge brushes and it'll be quite new to try a mascara with smaller brush!

Since we're talking about the brush, I think the brush is fantastic! The curve fits perfectly to my eyelash line, so it's really easy to get into the deepest lashes and flare it out. Also it's not too small for my upper lashes, but it's also not too big for my lower lashes. I'm really impressed with the brush.

But, of course, mascara is not all about the brush, isn't? In the end the product itself is what decided the performance. Is it good, is it bad?

For me, the mascara isn't lengthening or volumizing AT ALL. Sure it's black and the brush is great, but in the end, the product itself is a big fail. See the swatch below :

LEFT TO RIGHT : no mascara, one coat, two coats

You can see, my natural lashes are actually quite long, but they're more to the thin side. And the mascara just help to darken them, not really lengthening / volumizing. And I don't find it clumping, but it somehow clumps at the end of the lashes, making the lashes looks "spidery". I actually like 'spider-lashes' but the effect didn't really shows up - and it gets worse after I put eyeliner (I didn't put any in the swatch picture) because I like to put my eyeliner thickly. Short story, my lashes are invisible, even with mascara.

The only thing that might be good is the waterproof quality. It's very smudge proof and water proof, I have to use my cleansing oil to take this off completely. One bad thing is that this is really hard to remove, I guess that what's you have to deal with all the waterproof-ing and stuff.

Waterproof, smudge-proof
Cute packaging
Great brush, perfect size and curve

Not really lengthening or volumizing
Hard to remove
Expensive!

Overall, I don't think the price point reflects the product quality ;; It probably worked well for people with long and full lashes that might need a little 'help' - and definitely it's not enough for me! I currently just used it for my lower lashes, since it's really smudge proof, and in summer anything could happen, really.

Ah, I really disappointed with this product. I especially hate mascara that are difficult to remove.. >_<
