REVIEW : Missha "M" Vita B.B cream (Matte)

Yellow! Today I'm going to review something that I've had for sometime now and it's not new either, it's Missha''s M Vita B.B.Cream [Matte]

This B.B cream is not anywhere new in the market, and I've read somewhere that the 'Vita' B.B Cream line is the last B.B creams that Missha will ever make. And if you know me, I'll grab anything with 'Matte' written on them. I bought it on the store, and it retails for KRW 11.800 for 50ml. And the Vita B.B cream comes in 2 types, one matte and the other one is moisture and both only have one shade available.

It's also come with a box. No idea why I didn't take the box's picture.

And here's the decription from MisshaUS website :

"M Vita BB Cream Matte evens out skin texture and brightens skin tone with a moist and light finish. It calms sensitive skin, protects from UV rays and pollution, and helps maintain healthy skin. It is suitable for all skin types.

Vita Complex is comprised of 7 essential vitamins (Vitamin B3, B5, C, E, F, H, and Q) to improve skin and enhance skin vitality. Natural Protector (Fermented Soybean, Willow, Cassia Bark, Oregano, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Gold Extract) provides anti-pollution and soothing benefits for stressed skin. Also contains Grapefruit Seed Extract, Neem Tree Extract, Anti Shadow Complex, and Jewelry Complex for clear, radiant skin. Lemon Extract, Bergamot Fruit Extract, and White Willow Extract ingredients provide sebum control.

Shade is comparable to M Perfect Cover #21 Light Beige"

And it's not written on the description but it's also SPF 20 PA++ and nothing special really about the packaging. It comes with a standard Missha BB cream tube and with a pump.

exactly one pump!

Also forgive me to not take the picture of the ingredients list. But I realized it contains mineral oil that some people might be concerned with.

I usually used a pump and that's enough to cover all my face. And I like to use my buffing brush from Real Techniques brush collection to apply these.

LEFT (on each hand) nothing, RIGHT with bb cream

The coverage. Which I don't expect at all. I was surprised to see that the Perfect Cover B.B cream have less cover power than this one. It even able to cover my dark circles that sometimes made me forgot to wear concealer. That's an amazing one.

UP none; BELOW with bb cream

The price and the amount of product you get. This B.B cream is even cheaper than Etude House Mineral bla bla BB creams that I believe retail for KRW 14.000. And you get a great amount that I expect will last me months and months.

The packaging. It's simple, and with a pump. Can't even complain. And the pump pumps out the exact amount I need to cover my whole face.

Matte? They shouldn't have even bother to put 'matte' on these; because it's the less matte BB cream ever. It's still shines after I let it dry for some good minutes. That also says that this BB cream need the help of primer and setting powder to be able to stay on my oily-combination face. Without my matte primer, this BB cream only stays 1.5 hours shine-free.

Thick Consistency. Great coverage usually comes with thick consistency. What I'm talking here is not that this B.B cream felt heavy (it isn't that heavy) but it takes time for the B.B cream to settles down. Longer than my thicker foundation even. That makes applying this B.B cream with a regular foundation brush is almost impossible without making streaks all over your face. Well the solution that I propose is to blend the B.B cream with a makeup sponge (I do that) and it's streaks free!

Color Selection. I was lucky because the shade, even though it's not the exact match, works for me. But I'm sure a lot of people can't use this because of the poor shade selection. (Heck, it only comes in one shade. wut?). I'm actually shade #23 Perfect Cover and I think I can't use this B.B cream when the warmer season come.

with the BB cream only. no concealer or powder.

Ok. honestly speaking, it's really hard for me to do this review. It seems that I listed a lot of flaws of this product, but I still use this almost everyday. And people on the internet seems to be either liked this B.B cream or super super hate it.
I didn't even bother that this B.B cream didn't mattify my face, because I always go full routine (moisturizer > primer > B.B cream > setting powder) and that routine did a good job keeping my makeup all day.

So, I'll give this product 3.5 out of 5. I just like the fact that this product is a one stop for my blemish and dark circle problem!

Have you ever tried this B.B cream? What do you think? :|

REVIEW : Innisfree Mini Tint Lipstick Best Collection (limited)

Hello! Today I'm bringing you some 'Christmas' delight review!

It's Innisfree's Mini Tint Lipstick Best Collection!

This kit retails for KRW 12.000 and it contain 3 mini size of their "Creamy Tint Lipstick" in the 3 best selling color through out the years. And plus, if you purchase their Christmas Limited Edition kit, KRW 500 automatically goes for 'Save the Children" campaign. And yes, this is limited edition.

I wasn't going to pick these out before, because I thought they were lipbalms. And they don't exactly have any tester opened, and the staffs were not an helpful either. But I got back to the 'Innisfree' store the next day or so, and the staff just got 100x more friendlier and kindly shows me the lipstick testers. Sooo to keep the long story short, I GOT THEM. lol

The lipstick packaging is simply irresistible. Each lipsticks have different colors but still are complimenting each other. There's Christmas tree decoration and snow flakes on the cap and polkadots on the bottom part. I like that it's very simple and I personally liked the middle one the best :)

So inside the lipsticks are :

1. Creamy Tint #1 꽃봉오리 핑크 - Pinkish Berry Red

2. Creamy Tint #2 달콤한 칵테일 핑크 -  Bright Fuchsia Pink

3. Creamt Tint #12 산들바람 코랄 - Orangey Coral

lip swatch from #1, #2 to #12

I like that this kit actually give me a 'budget' option to try out more color from the 'Creamy Tint' line. I had one before and well, a girl can't never have too much lipstick, can she?

Of course the packaging, I can't complain anything about them. It's classic Christmas theme - Red and White. Simple prints. Love them. This is a perfect present for Christmas, because the kit actually cost the same as 1 Creamy Tint Lipstick in the normal size. So you don't have to worry about getting someone this kit because surely there's at least one shade that the person would like :)

And talking about the product itself, Creamy Tint Lipsticks are very vivid, great color payoff and as the name says, creamy. It had a matte finish but it's not at all hard to apply like some of matte lipsticks out there. And let me tell you, these Creamy Tint Lipstick will last you forever, you didn't need much really. Also it's lasting power is also pretty great, as it would slightly tint your lips.

Apparently a lot of people are furious on how small it is. So here's a comparison :

I admit I was really surprised when I first opened the kit. Because the amount of product isn't what I expect it would be. But after I thought about this issue again, the 3 minis cost the same as the full one. And I'm sure if you melt those 3 minis and mix it into one, you could get 1 full size one.
(mini : @1.1g ; full size : 3.5g)

Yes I think the packaging is slightly 'too big' for that little amount of product, but I can't imagine how uncomfortable it will be to apply lipstick from a tiny-bity tube.

I personally don't have a huge problem with the amount of product, so it's still a good deal for me.

About the product itself, I found out that these 'Creamy Tint' products are too drying for this time of the year. I can still get away with some lipgloss and lip balms too, so things are under control I guess.

And personally, I don't really like the color selection. I like them, but I don't think I could get a lot of wear on this festive season as the colors are too 'summery and springy'. Creamy Tint line is released during SS 2013 so most of the colors are bright and don't really go with Autumn/Winter colors.

If I could design the kit, I probably will pick FW colors rather than the best selling colors. And I don't really get on why choose the best selling colors? I mean if it's "best seller" there are high chances that most people already have it and made them not wanting to purchase them! I just don't get it. For now I could only wear the #1 :(

But I don't have any of the colors so yeay good for me.

So yeah! That's my review on the Innisfree's Christmas Kit! I do have the nail polish Christmas kit too, but I've decided not to do anything Christmas-y until December. So maybe tonight I will try the nail polishes! :)

And I don't plan on getting more Christmas Kit.. but if you have suggestion.. maybe I'll check it out :]

See you on my next post! xx

And PS. you lucky Indonesian that get to see Hyde's VAMPS performance on the 29th. Is it weird that I got jealous over Tukul because he got to see Hyde up close?????? :(

Haul and My Winter Essentials!

Hi! Today I'm going to introduce my Winter Essentials! Since the day has getting colder and windier and definitely drier, I want to share some of my stuff that I use daily :

1. Victoria's Secret "Ravishing Love" hydrating body lotion - I used to have this one because it's really sticky, but I love the scent very much. I don't know what happened, but after a few months not using it, the texture didn't felt as sticky as the first times. I didn't think that the lotion's texture is changing but I think I'm getting used to the feeling. Its scent is fruity sweet and the scent lingers for some time.

2. Victoria's Secret "Such a Flirt" ultra moisturizing hand and body cream - This one is much thicker but definitely not sticky. This one has a very sweet floral scent and I like it for drier days.

3. Nature Republic "Asian Garden" Breeze in body lotion - Might be my favorite out of the bunch - very light and its scent like a herb floral? It's kinda hard to describe the scent, anyway it's my favorite! (It's my second tube, too!)

4. The Body Shop "Strawberry" Body butter - The body shop's body butter is like my all time favorite, and I think mot of you guys' too. It's very moisturizing, fast absorbing, great scent, and I can't spend winter without it.

Almost all of these are almost out, but I don't think I will repurchasing any of these. I want to try more lotions and try to search for better scents out there! (I see you, espoir!)

Now to the next items, hand creams! I've never even felt the need on hand creams, but recently putting on these just make my hands felt really great, and smells good! And why I need this many hand creams? I don't know!

1. Etude House "Sunny Sunny Apple" Missing U (KRW 5.500) - Not only I think it has the best color out of the bunch, it also has the best scent! I didn't bring this everywhere, it just sits on my desk and I use it before I put my nail polish on.

2. The Face Shop "Baby Powder" Holiday hand cream perfumed edition (KRW 11.900 for 3) - This actually come in a set for 3. It's from The Faceshop Christmas Limited Edition last year and I gave out the other 3. I actually hated this one but I didn't have other to replace. But now I have a lot!

3. VDL "Dazzling Kiss" Hand fragrance (KRW 4.500) - This actually comes for free with my VDL purchases some time ago. I was suprised to see how much it retails! Anyway, this little fella smells so good too and it's small so it's all good! :)

4. Nature Republic "Grapefruit" Hand cream (KRW 6.600) - This is the newest hand cream that I bought recently. I love these! The scent is actually very fruity but also subtle.

5. Nature Republic "Vanilla" Hand cream (KRW 6.600) - This is actually 1+1 event so I got 2 hand creams. So I decided one fruity, one 'creamy'! Ha! A lot of people said to me that it smells like 'Dancow' milk powder? lol

6. Neutrogena Hand cream - my most moisturizing hand cream ever, sometime it felt uncomfortable because it's really really moist, but some time, it helps my hand real fast and good! :))

Next! It's my haul! It's from Innisfree and Etude House, obivously.

1. Innisfree 'Mini Tint Lipstick Best Collection"  (KRW 12.000) - it contain Innisfree's 3 mini sized Creamy Tint Lipstick, review definitely coming up! REVIEW is up! Click HERE! :))

2. Innisfree 'Eco Nail Color Collection" (KRW 7.500) - This set contain 3 'Christmas themed' nail polish and also nail stickers. Review also, coming soon!

1. Etude House "Minnie Wink Lash" 001 and 002 (@ KRW 3.000) - really looking forward to try these! They looked natural but still look 'falsies'; if you know what I mean.

2. Etude House "Nail Remover" extra power (KRW 2.000) - cheap, removes all, can't complain

3. Etude House "Baking Powder" Pore cleansing tissues (KRW 4.500) - Still trying these one out! :))

4. Etude House "Skin Mal:gem" clear cotton (KRW 3.000) - My favorite cotton pad, EVER. I love these, but they're kinda more expensive than other cheap dollar store's cotton pad. So I always got these on sale.

5. Etude House "Proof 10" Liquid Liner BR402 Coffee Brown (KRW 9.000) - This is my sister's, but she got this because she liked it after trying mine :)) So you can say that I like this too!

Is there anything that you want me to review first? :) Thankyou so much for reading!
