DIALOG #7 : Akhir-akhir ini

Halo semua!

Kayaknya udah lama banget gue engga tulis dialog lagi D: haha ini sampe lupa udah "dialog" ke berapa loh! Ya ampun!

Ok, mulai dengan update-an aja deh, sekarang liburan musim panas Filia yang terakhir telah mulai! Kenapa terakhir? Karena Filia sekarang sudah tahun keempat dan semester depan adalah semester terakhir gue sekolah disini! Yes! Antara sedih dan senang :") > emoticon ini sangat menggambarkan perasaan gue.

Karena gue adalah jurusan Fashion Design, gue harus bikin baju untuk kelulusan gue. Baju-baju satu angkatan akan di-fashion show-kan di akhir semester. Gue cuma harus bikin 2 baju, engga banyak! Bener deh, dibanding sekolah fashion lain, 2 itu rasanya ciprit banget. Gue juga ngerasa gitu #eaaa #sombong. Tapi, gue rasa bikin lebih dari 2 itu rasanya bebannya berlipet-lipet ganda.

Kenapa? Sekolah gue ini engga begitu 'fokus' banget sama fashion. Very, very annoying. Di saat gue harusnya pake satu semester untuk bikin project kelulusan gue, disaat yang bersama gue tetep harus menuhin sks dengan pelajaran-pelajaran super geje yang gue rasa engga ada guna dan buang-buang waktu gue. Salah gue juga, gue malah ngambil pelajaran Bahasa Inggris buat anak tahun pertama, bukannya besar kepala juga, tapi level gue dibanding sama orang Korea sini gue udah kayak native. Padahal nativenya Jawa sak jane.

Pokoknya, hari ini adalah hari 1 liburan musim panas karena semua hal yang bersangkutan dengan project kelulusan selesai hari ini! Yes!



Anyway, fashion show-nya akan diadakan semester depan. Sebagai orang Indonesia yang cinta tanah air, gue dan temen gue (orang Indonesia juga) mengambil tema, yep, BATIK. Indah dan unik, engga ada lagi dah yang ngalahin. Gue fokus dengan batik Parang, sedang temen gue fokus dengan motif ikat dicampur dengan Batik.

Apalagi ya yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini? Oh iye, buat kalian yang udah baca blog gue dari jebot mungkin tau, gue hampir engga pernah pasang watermark. Tapi akhir-akhir ini gue rajin banget pasang. Alasannya? Beberapa kali gue nangkep (atau follower2 IG yang baik hati memberitahu) kalo ada online shop yang ambil foto gue seenak jidat. Berhubung sebagian besar (atau malah semua) yang ngambil foto gue adalah Online Shop Indonesia, gue cuma mau ngasih tau, GUE ENGGA PERNAH DI ENDORSE MEREKA. Titik. Jadi pembeli yang pintar! Jangan ketipu sama foto-foto mereka yang keliatannya mereka foto sendiri, taunya barangnya engga ada / palsuannya.

The worse? Kemarin Elin dari elinivana.com nge-Line gue, ngasih tau ada yang pake foto gue. Dan yang kali ini rada engga bener. Foto dari review 3CE Full Cover Concealer dari blog gue di pake buat promosi concealernya Etude House. WHAT.

Gue masih dengan gaya sok cool, Line ownernya, dan tanya kenapa foto gue buat jualan barang yang beda. Pertama dia bilang engga tau apa-apa soalnya adiknya yang bikin collage fotonya. Trus gue bilang, bukan itu masalahnya, problemnya ini kan produk yang gue pake di mata gue beda sama yang si mbak ini jualan.

Dia bilang soalnya foto gue bagus, item-item di bawah matanya ketutup. EH YAKALI MBAK. Gue bilang kalo dia ini semacam bohong ke konsumen, trus sekarang engga dibales sama dia. Sekali lagi, jangan ketipu yeh. Kudos buat Elin, hebatnya bisa nemu aja yang ginian. Gue sampe nanya balik, "Lin, emang ini mata gue ya?" - sampe pangling banget.

Dasar pedagang urik. Maunya gampang banget copas foto doang. Buka satu jadiin sample, trus foto kenapa mbak. (Ini bukan gue yang jualan ye).

Anyway, sekarang gue mulai sering buka ask.fm lagi, hanya karena bosan aja. Iseng buka-buka lagi. Sebenernya rada segan main ask.fm karena banyak yang pikir ask.fm ini Google apa. Kadang gue jadi mikir, apakah orang-orang yang main ask.fm ini even read my blog. Well, ga tau deh, sekarang gue jadi pilih-pilih Q banget dan kadang banyak yang ga masuk akal sampe kepikiran sendiri lol - seriously

ANDDDD hari Kamis ini, gue akan pergi ke Seoul dan akan ketemuan sama blogger famous Indonesia, Rini Cesillia! Setelah kemarin pergi ke Seoul selama week-end yang sangat-amat tidak memuaskan, akhirnya kali ini bisa bener-bener main (engga juga sih sebenernya. bokek banget ya ampun #anakkalap)

June Favorites

Hello! NOW my summer break is officially started, and honestly I don't know what to do really. And really really soon, July is coming and that means 2014's second half is here! I'll introduce you shortly about products that I've been loving this past month!

First, skin care - I've been really enjoying using this Sebum Oil Control Cream from SN-T, honestly I had no idea what brand it is, but I got it from Memebox's Lucky Box. It had this really watery and gel texture, perfect for oily & acne/blemish prone skin, it's light and refreshing, just enough moisture for the summer!

Since June is filled with a lot of projects and I basically stand up all night for almost a week straight (damn you finals!). Not only the darkness in my eyes that got worse and worse (they're quite dark normally. sigh) they're almost like stripped from all this moisture and the lines are getting more and more obvious. I definitely need a emergency safety kit here, so I decided to pick up these eye patch from N.M.F Aquaring Gel Eyefill Patch from Mediheal. I used it twice a week and let it for maximum 40 minutes. The eye patches are like gel, so it really cools down and feels like it reduces the darkness in my eyes.

Once, a Bobbi Brown makeup artist told me that spraying mist before any makeup is helping the makeup to actually stays on, because it cools down the face before 'warming' up the face with all the makeup. Call it a habit, but I always sprayed a face mist before makeup and it's feels really good. This time i'm using Aritaum's Baby Face Mist in Power Hyaluronic Acid - it's light and the most important thing : it's not sticky to the face.

Hanging out under the sun is pretty much what I do recently all the time, really Korea's Summer is almost twice hotter than Indonesia's normal weather! And one thing that my mom frequently remind me to do : always, always put on sunscreen. Yep, here I am with my favorite (maybe all the time favorite really.) the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence with SPF50+ PA+++. Not only it's realllllly light on the skin, it's scent is just heavenly and this cooling effect is just, PERFECT!

I personally like the 3CE's Velvet Pore Primer more than the 3CE Pore Silky Balm, but since I got the Velvet Primer almost in the end of the month, i found that I used the Pore Silky Balm more this month - and I gotta be fair, right?

And topping the primer with Innisfree's Long Wear Cushion #23, some concealer & powder, and that's it, that's my face products of the month! (Funny that I'm pretty sure after I wrote all of these, people still gonna ask me what I use everyday, and bla-bla, I mean, do people actually read what I wrote? Or do they just scroll through all the pics? Really?)

If you've been reading my blog long enough, you'll probably know that I'm a bronzer kinda gal and this month my favorite is Tony Moly's Crystal Blusher in #07 Bronzing Brown. I think I've gone through 3 of these, crazy right? It's cheap, the color showed up great in me (it used to be too light for me, but it's not right now!). I hadn't wrote a review for these actually, I don't know why, but I think maybe that time I purchased this the pictures just didn't came out nicely and I probably just skipped it. Anyway, it's a good affordable product!

For a bronzer-kinda-gal to put a blusher to a favorite, that must be a big thing. This Skin Food Rose Essence Soft Cream Blusher in Orange Rouge is my best friend this month. Sometime I just felt to washed out with high coverage foundation and this just brought a slight color to my cheek, just to help everything looks 'healthy'

3CE one color shadow in Cinnamon is also my go to eyeshadow color, it's a matte brown with slight grayish tone in it. I'm going to make a separate post on my 3CE's one color eyeshadow collection, so stay tune for that! Usually I use this color to contour my lid and also the outer V, with Innisfree's Shadow Pencil in Soft Milktea in my lid to give a little bit of dimension.

I got many compliments (thank you guys :") from wearing this particular lip color from 3CE Creamy Lip Color #joyce - and I began to reach for it almost all the time really :D

Last, but definitely not least, is my body spray that I've bee abusing everyday, it's "Dream More" from GAP. I got this last May in Japan, when GAP had this Golden Week sale and I think I got this half off the price. Really like the scent, it's floral but still sweet, the perfect Spring scent. I have to change to summer scent now really, probably gonna still use it once in a time.

REVIEW : 3CE's "I'm Good" Mascara

The last one from my 3CE's June Haul products to review! It's the "I'm Good" Mascara!

I don't usually like pink colored stuff, but it's so neon that it's stand outs from all other product and it's just so pretty to be looked at! Don't you agree?

First, the pink is definitely not as neon as the box - which is still acceptable I guess. From the claims I think it mainly claims long and curled lashes, all proof and super black, no clumps mascara. 

Outside from the cute packaging, I was actually interested about the brush. Mainly because I recently got into huge brushes and it'll be quite new to try a mascara with smaller brush! 

Since we're talking about the brush, I think the brush is fantastic! The curve fits perfectly to my eyelash line, so it's really easy to get into the deepest lashes and flare it out. Also it's not too small for my upper lashes, but it's also not too big for my lower lashes. I'm really impressed with the brush. 

But, of course, mascara is not all about the brush, isn't? In the end the product itself is what decided the performance. Is it good, is it bad? 

For me, the mascara isn't lengthening or volumizing AT ALL. Sure it's black and the brush is great, but in the end, the product itself is a big fail. See the swatch below :

You can see, my natural lashes are actually quite long, but they're more to the thin side. And the mascara just help to darken them, not really lengthening / volumizing. And I don't find it clumping, but it somehow clumps at the end of the lashes, making the lashes looks "spidery". I actually like 'spider-lashes' but the effect didn't really shows up - and it gets worse after I put eyeliner (I didn't put any in the swatch picture) because I like to put my eyeliner thickly. Short story, my lashes are invisible, even with mascara. 

The only thing that might be good is the waterproof quality. It's very smudge proof and water proof, I have to use my cleansing oil to take this off completely. One bad thing is that this is really hard to remove, I guess that what's you have to deal with all the waterproof-ing and stuff.

Overall, I don't think the price point reflects the product quality ;; It probably worked well for people with long and full lashes that might need a little 'help' - and definitely it's not enough for me! I currently just used it for my lower lashes, since it's really smudge proof, and in summer anything could happen, really.

Ah, I really disappointed with this product. I especially hate mascara that are difficult to remove.. >_<
