REVIEW : Etude House's Play 101 Pencil #8 and #42

Hi!

Good Day everyone! Today I'm bringing you guys a review about Etude House's Play 101 Pencil. How can you resist these pencils not after Pony's gorgeous tutorial videos?

Play 101 Pencil came with 50 variety of shades and colours - really intimidating, at least for me. It's really hard to chose only some from the enormous collection! So what I did was listing number of shades that I interested in while watching Pony's video. In the end, among all the numbers I wrote, only 2 actually made the cashier and there they are.

I was looking for a nude, skin coloured eye pencil, so I can line my lower waterline to make my eyes look bigger. And I took #42 because Pony use it for her eyebrow, and it looked pretty good!

All the pencil is retractable, and had a built-in sharpener - no mess, no fuss!

First the #8 pencil is matte, and it's cream coloured with a hint of yellow tint. The shade is a perfect match to my skin tone. I personally bought this mainly for lining my eyes, not for concealing blemishes even though it could be used that way too. I think for concealing, this pencil is not creamy enough to glide or even to be blend to the skin, and the coverage is not as good. For waterline lining, the lasting power is not as long but it's ok.

For the #8 pencil, now I must give my applause for Pony. To be able to use this pencil as an eyebrow pencil is super hard. Not only because the shade is really light, it's so creamy that it's hard to control. Now I'm actually stuck because I can't use this for my eyebrow (well, I could but..), and it's too light for eyeliner, maybe I'll use it for eyeshadow? Still figuring stuff out here!

LEFT before application RIGHT after application (eyebrow and lower waterline)

Overall, I think the concept of this pencils are simply genius - but it's just unfortunate that 2 pencil that I purchase didn't work as good as I thought it would be. Nevertheless, I'm currently using the #8 almost everyday because it's really helps opening my eyes and it's definitely more natural that white eyeliner.

Thankyou for reading! Have you tried the Play 101 Pencil? Any shade to recommend? :D

REVIEW : 3CE's Face Blush in #Love Filter

Hello! How's the holiday fellas?
After the super exciting trip to Raja Ampat, I mainly just hang out with my friends - or most of the time sat down in front of my computer and watch Thai TV series "Hormones" or Korean drama "It's OK, That's Love". Both are super good tbh.

Today I'm going to review a 5 out of 5 product that I've been super duper lovin' this days - it's 3CE's face blush in #Love Filter.

I forgot how long do I keep this product in my wishlist, but never got it because I'm not a blush kinda girl. If you see my blush collection, shades that I have are similar to each other really. And that is this kinda peachy-pink color. One reason, I think this shade is the best for my feature and I think a lot of people definitely can use this kinda shade.

Described as "pearlescent coral pink" - this blush has a very beautiful warm coral pink shade, almost looks like it's orange in dim light. It had the slightest pearl infused, almost invisible to the eye, and can't see any of it when applied.

It had a beautiful satin finish, without any chunks of glitter even involved. Still, the shade is pigmented - and believe me with my skin tone (which is still considered as - dark - in Korea) looking for a blusher that actually shows color on my face is more than hard!

And the texture is 'creamy' - well it's a pressed powder but the surface is so silky smooth and it didn't appear as chalky at all. Also it didn't have many fall outs too!

Love the shade!
Creamy texture, super smooth
Good Pigmentation
Pretty Finish

none

Overall, again it's a 5 out of 5 product - I LOVE THIS. Well I might be a little bit lying if it didn't have any (-) points, it's hella pricy for a Korean brand. But again, I don't use blush a lot and I don't mind spending more for something as good as this! And the size it's bigger than my expectation - so that's nice :)

I really recommend this blush to people who are looking for a good one! And I think the shade will definitely go well with huge range of skin tones <3

FITZROY GASTROBAR

Sorry for being MIA these past week! Not only because I'm travelling to places that is lack of internet connection, but it just I don't have the urge to write. Damn you, Indonesia! Whenever I'm back to Indonesia, I turned my holiday mood on and there's only 2 things I want to do : eating and tv-show marathon-ing. Yep.

Anyway, I'm gonna try to get productive again! Before that, I'd like to point that even though this blog has mainly filled with beauty and makeup related posts, I used to do cafe and restaurant posts and sharing the experience is more than fun because hanging out in some place cool is also one of my passion.

This time I went to Senopati area and tried Fitzroy GastroBar to have some lunch with my bro and his friend (and his friend is a girl, third wheel enough?). She's very cute and kind enough to lend me her camera lens (and I even took the lens for my trip to Raja Ampat - thankyou, Chia!)

Fitzroy GastroBar located in Jl. Gunawarman no. 30 (zomato.com). The restaurant have this bohemian feel, filled with colorful ethnic themed knick-knacks. Separated into two part, the Gastro Area and Couch Area - only the Couch Area is air-conditioned.

According to AnakJajan.com - the owners are inspired by bars and restaurants in Melbourne, they decided to recreate one in Jakarta. They have a large varieties of cocktails that I didn't try sadly.

Iced Chai Latte

Iced Lemontea

Double Happiness Crispy Chicken

Chicken Karma Parma

Fitzroy's Aglio

I should have done some research first before going, because now I regret not trying their famous Gyutan Don. Overall, the foods are good and delicious.

Overall, I like the total ambience of the place, and the food is good. I definitely want to come again and try more of their recommendations :)

I'll slip some ootd here, photographed by Chia, thankyou darls <3

This is my bro btw.
