REVIEW : ETUDE HOUSE PINK SKULL COLOR EYES PK002

Hey guys! Today I'm bringing you a review to everyone's favorite, Etude House's Pink Skull Color Eyes PK002!

It's one of Etude House's Pink Skull Collection, which I think is one of their best collection ever, and released just a tad after summer 2016. Of course as an eyeshadow maniac, this is a must buy, especially after hearing good reviews from this palette.

From this collection, there are 2 eyeshadows palette, similar but different. Both are neutrals with a mix of pinks and red, while the first one is warmer and more natural, the second one, or the one that I have is cooler and smokier as the shades are slightly darker.

The size of the palette is definitely smaller that I expected, if you have MAC Cosmetics 9 times 9 palette, they're the same dimension. But Etude House's palette have slightly bigger eyeshadow pan.

In each of the pan, there's a heart, not engraved but it's a bulge. I find that the heart shaped eyeshadow is cute tho!

The color combination is perfect. I find that this palette is versatile but in the same time it has shades that are fun to play with! For me, I love to use the pinks in my lower lash line :))

The 9 shades are:

Romantic Plum Beige - light ashy purple (matte)

Vintage Rose Beige - ashy warm pink (matte)

French Metal Brown - beige champagne with pink and gold glitter (shimmer)

Skull Pink - vivid cool tone pink (matte)

Kissing Red -  dark cherry red (shimmer)

Funky Brown - wine shade with chrome gliter (shimmer)

Pendant Pink - light pink with silver and gold glitter (glitter)

Velvet Red - burgundy brown (shimmer)

Choco Black - dark cool tone gray (shimmer)

I found that these eyeshadow's pigmentations are vary. The best would be the midtones/darker shades, and the worst being "Pendant Pink". I say "Pendant Pink" is more like an over/top coat kinda eyeshadow, it's hard to be used on its own because it'll be hard to be seen.

Overall, this eyeshadows are so much better than I expected. Though some (one, actually) aren't working as well as I thought it should, but the overall shades and performance are definitely satisfying! :D

LOLA MAKEUP PRESSED POWDER AND LIPSTICK ULTRA SHINE

Hey Sugars! Hari ini aku mau review 2 produk dari "LOLA", ada yang pernah dengar brand ini? LOLA makeup by Perse adalah brand makeup dari Inggris, dan juga didistribusikan di Marks and Spencer juga! 

Honestly, pas awal-awal aku rada-rada bingung, did I heard about this makeup brand before? Mungkin pernah kelewat lihat kali ya di drugstore waktu jalan-jalan ke luar? And I tried these 2 products that I got from zataru.com AND I LOVE THEM. Lucu juga jarang banget denger ada beauty youtuber/blogger bicara tentang produk ini. 

Yuk kita jatuh cinta lebih lanjut dengan produk-produk dari Lola ini! :D

Pertama, dari packagingnya, you know I love simple stuffs! Dua-dua produk ini punya matte packaging dan very compact. Intinya pas banget deh dipegang di tangan!

Ok, sekarang aku mau masuk review per produk, pertama I'm going to start with 

Lola Makeup

Matte Silky Finish Pressed Powder

Hal yang aku notice langsung dari packaging adalah fakta bahwa produk ini di design di London dan di manufaktur di Italia! Wow. Jadi udah pasti lah ya jaminan kualitasnya. Nah, produk yang aku punya ini adalah di shade B014.

B014 itu adalah shade "Medium Light" dan warnanya menurut aku warm neutral, dan lebih ke oranye dibanding ke kuning.  

Kalau menurut website dari lolamakeup.com

"Suitable for all skin types, this matte translucent powder gives a final flawless touch and keeps you shine-free. Micro-fine powders let skin breathe while oil absorbing micro-sponges combat shine. Intinya, Lola menyatakan produknya ini ringan di wajah, mengatasi minyak berlebih dan membantu mengecilkan tampak pori yang besar. 

(lucu banget ya engravingnya!!)

Overall, aku suka bawa compact powder ini buat touch up!! Sudah coveragenya bagus, rasanya ringaaaan sekali di kulit. (like literally the lightest, but the most covering powder!).

Hanya satu yang aku kurang suka dari compact powder ini adalah aplikatornya. Aplikator ini berbahan velvet, dan tidak "menyerap" produk, tapi for me, sponge aplikator rasanya mengcover lebih baik dan mungkin aku-nya memang lebih terbiasa dengan aplikator berbentuk sponge!

dan, unfortunately, powder yang aku pilih (B014) itu terlalu oranye di aku, sebenarnya sama sekali engga obvious, tapi kalau aku repurchase - I will choose a lighter shade! :D

Lola Makeup

Ultra Shine Lipstick "Blush Pink"

Ok, pertama jangan kaget lihat warnanya yang super "pink". Entah kenapa di foto kelihatannya super funky ya pinknya HAHA. 

Tapi aslinya, warnanya pink soft, dan lebih ke arah warm pink, jadi it'll suit most of Indonesian skin tones! :D

Seperti namanya, "Shine" - lipstik ini mempunyai finish yang shiny. Biasanya, lipstick yang shiny mempunyai pigmentation / daya tahan yang kurang dari lipstick matte / satin, tapi not with this one. Lipstik ini pigmentationnya bagus, cuma karena memang finishnya shiny jadi rasanya rada kesamar-samar pigmentationnya. 

Lasting powernya much more ok dari produk-produk yang mirip. Karena dia sedikit staining di bibir. Tapi, walaupun di stain, di bibir tetap tidak kering dan ringan banget. Selain itu, karena warnanya yang soft, I don't need mirror to re-apply!! Buat anak kuliahan yang dikejar-kejar sama deadline (ceileh) ini cocok banget deh biar tetep kece pas lagi kerja kelompok :D

HALO semuanya! I'm so excited to review these babies! Ok, jadi engga berapa hari lalu aku denger kabar Rollover Reaction ada produk baru dan aduh ga kuat langsung cuss beli ke websitenya. This is my first time trying their product dan singkat cerita I'm super satisfied!

Kali ini mereka meluncurkan "The Clique" squad, ada 3 shades dan they're inspired by the 90s. Sekali lihat I knew these shades are something that Rachel, Monica and Phoebe would wear in the early season of Friends <3

Nama produknya adalah SUEDED! Lip and Cheek Cream. Aku sempat pikir pas mereka pertama kali released 5 shades yang awal-awal kalau harganya bakalan lumayan mahal, apalagi looking at their packaging yang simple dan rasanya bakalan mahal gimana gitu.

Tapi, pas 3 shades ini keluar, aku kaget ternyata harganya itu 119k - dan it's ok for me - mirip-mirip sama Soft Matte Lipsnya NYX! Setiap produk berisi 5,5g dan aku akan bahas per shades, yang dimana semua shadenya terinspirasi dari wanita-wanita iconic di tahun 90an!

Deep Berry Red

Uma Thurman as Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction. Miss Mia Wallace is bold in every way - why would her lip colour be any different? The bold deep red is a cult obsession we could never get rid of.

Umma adalah warna merah bata, sedikit lebih cool toned dibanding "Maxwell" (aku ga punya maxwell sih, tapi pas lihat swatch di website begitu)

Ini adalah warna yang aku paling engga yakin mau beli apa engga - karena I have a bad match with oranges. Jadi pas pertama kali paket dari RR datang, aku langsung coba LIVV dan omg I got so many compliments! (Dan alhasil cewek-cewek centil di kampus ikutan kalapin RR juga!!)

True Chocolate Brown

Iconic and inimitable. Whether you love her or loath her, there’s undoubtedly to says that Kate Moss is one of the cultural icon in ’90s era. Be a cool chic with this high-fashion chocolate brown.

Dibanding warna-warna "coklat" yang aku punya, kayaknya warna ini warna yang paling "coklat" - a unique color to experiment with!

OVERALL, produk ini punya pigmentation yang super bagus, dan DAN - it feels so light on the lips. Biasanya, lip cream dengan finish yang matte itu terasa berat di lipstick - apalagi kalau kita applynya tebel-tebel, tapi it doesn't happen with this lipstick! 

Dan, aku suka banget texturenya di bibir yang jadi moussey gimana gitu, apalagi kalau aku bikin jadi gradation! :) lasting power is moderate, dengan UMMA sebagai warna yang paling engga tahan. Umma gampang banget kehapus sedang LIVV dan MOSS seems to have a better lasting power.

Nah, karena ini dipasarkan sebagai "lip and cheek" cream, aku juga coba pakai lipstick ini di pipi. Personally, I don't like using lipstick for cheek or blusher in general, kecuali kalo lagi kepepet. Karena susaaaaaah banget ngeratain produk yang harusnya memang pigmented di lipstick untuk harus rata di pipi. Tapi karena produk ini dibuat untuk bisa jadi blusher juga, I tried it... buttt

Buat aku warnanya blotchy di pipi. Sedikit sulit untuk meratakan warnanya apalagi ketika dia udah set. Cuma, I thought shades like UMMA itu bakal susah banget dijadikan blush - karena warnanya yang sangat mengintimidasi, tapi ternyata tetep kelihatan natural!

OVERALL, dari 3 shades yang ada, aku paling suka dengan LIVV! Dan untuk overall performancenya, I'm more that satisfied!!!! :D Packagingnya suka banget and I love how it's really easy to buy the products!
