Korean Harley Quinn Makeup Look (Ssinnim's Inspired!)

Weeks ago I watched this video from my ever so favorite Korean beauty blogger "SSINNIM" and she made this "Harley Quinn" inspired makeup tutorial. I've saw pictures of idol groups edited into this Harley Quinn makeup and I LOVE THEM. Now, if you see the real Harley Quinn version, it should look like this :

But, then look at these idols. They look like Harley Quinn that been fed by love, flowers, cotton candy and clouds <3 A much, much toned down Harley Quinn look! Sure some of them still look scary, scary cool tho.

My personal favorite - Taeyeon looks really good with this makeup! 

Though I think most of the idol looks are edited, but I'm not really sure because the editing is just too good. But! I heard that Teentop is going to adapt this Harley Quinn look for their comeback!

Here's the mighty SSINNIM's version of the look. I like it so much that I decided to recreate this!

Here's a step-by-step pictorial of my eye makeup :

And to add the twist, I add a little star under my blue eye! 

For the lips, I go with a gradation look with a neon pink lip tint. I used 3CE water gloss in #switch on :)

And here's the finished look! 

Then I tried to challenge my photoshop skill and try to edit my eyeball and my hair out! 

Not only I tried this look on my self, I tried this on my sister as well. Lol

I sticked eyelid tape on her so her lids look like there's a line across.

REVIEW : Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown

After lurking around this product, I finally gave in.

Today I'm bringing you a review for a product that is not a stranger to beauty maniacs as it had been raved by beauty guru around the world - presenting Anastasia Beverly Hills' Brow Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown!

Since this product reviews and swatches are probably everywhere around the world I'm going to review this quickly and focuses on how I like the product for me!

So, I was never a maniac for eyebrow product and I didn't even touch my eyebrow since like, 2 years ago and I've already started writing for my blog. I' don't really care about my eyebrow since I do have sufficient eyebrow hairs and I don't feel the need to groom my eyebrow.

To cut the story short, I finally actually started to groom my eyebrow hair and started to fill them in. Not until recently when I took a close up picture of my eyes and noticed that MY EYEBROWS AREN'T IN THE SAME HEIGHT - yes they were. And I decided to take my eyebrow razor and try to trim the hair day by day slowly and carefully to make them actually in the same height.

That didn't come without any side effects. My brow, that have never been considered being "bald" before, became "bald". Of course lah it doesn't stay bald because I fill them in everyday and things went great UNTIL my eyebrow pencil doesn't actually stands the humidity and sebum level in Indonesia  that during the day it sometimes erased off.

Finally, after a few embarrassing moment of having half-of-my-eyebrow-chopped-off-and-gone-by-the-day I decided to cave in and purchase this product - mostly because a lot of people claimed that it's very very waterproof and sweatproof you don't have to worry about it anymore.

ABH dipbrow pomade retails for USD 18 and while I purchased mine for IDR 298.000 from @dejoyofmakeup (Instagram). This product is probably ABH's best seller - especially in Indonesia and ABH has been know for their brow product since like forever. If you're in Indonesia, I think it's not hard to look for one in your trusted online shops. I recommend you to check Indomakeup.com because I think they sold ABH dipbrow pomade for the lowest price (IDR 258.000)

The product is great, it's like gel liner for the brow. Didn't come with a brow brush so you have to have one. I recommend to look for an angled brow brush. Personally, I thought medium brown will be the best shade for me, but I still find that it's too dark for my liking. But after a few (a lot) trials and errors I can finally make it work to my liking.

This product would be perfect for those who want to amp up their brow game, especially for those who have thin brow hairs. This product is great to combined with heavier / smokey eye looks - If you like to rock heavy brow look daily then it's great for daily too. I don't usually do heavy brows so I did it with a very, very light hand.

I can't recommend this to those who just started doing their eyebrows, because even for me I still have to adapt and try to make it work for my brow. There's time when I went out looking like shinchan.

I think this product is a very good brow product, it's water proof and budge proof - it's just stay there forever until you decided to erase it. And it looks very natural and you can control the thickness of the shade. Personally, for daily makeup I still prefer my eyebrow pencil because it's faster to work with and less dramatic for eveyrday. Ofcourse when I have my 'bald' brow days, I have to use this to cover the baldness lol

REVIEW : COLOUR POP'S LIPPIE STIX

I'm back with a non Korean product this time - a product that have been raved everywhere I guess? It's Colour Pop's Lippie Stix!

I got it from @JoanCorner at Instagram - It's been a while since I knew about this instagram account, since a lot of my friends bought their makeups there but of course while I'm in Korea I can't purchase their products but now that I'm back! I've made a few purchases already!

Since they had a buy 3 or more for Rp. 100.000 each, I got 3 shades that I like! Lumiere, Button and I ♡ this

Nothing special really, it's white stick with retractable lipstick on the inside. In one of her video, Shannonxo actually said that some of her viewers thought she was overturned the lipstick, because of the design in which the top part of the sticks show the lipstick shade /lol

Anyway, I'm glad all my lipsticks are working just fine and are easy to turn up or down. Just - be careful of overturning or you'll experienced what I went through :

Probably because I swatched them right after I received the package, Indonesia is too hot I know.

Pigmentation : Great, Application : Great, Staying Power : Great. Price, Affordable - everything is just above average and I don't have anything to say more about this. 

One thing I noticed is they do have this waxy scents (?) - sometimes money speaks and this one can't get away. I don't know if it just me but waxy scents = cheaply made stuffs, for me atleast. But in the same time I'm glad that this product is soo affordable that I can experiment with more colors! (don't worry I'm gonna expand my lippie stix collection that's for sure!)

Though I like all the shades that I purchased, "Lumiere" came out too grayish for my skin tone. I fell in love with this shade because of Kathleenlights from youtube looks absolutely gorgeous with this "Lumiere" shade, it doesn't work for me.

I'm actually quite OK with the shade, but once my brother said that my lipstick shade made me looks like I'm sick, I became sooo self conscious about that. But when I looked again, it doesn't look flattering in my skin tone as much as someone with paler skin does.

Great for those looking for a cheaper alternative for super bright and pigmented lip color! Colour Pop is indeed famous for their strong pigmentation and affordable price, this one is definitely not a disappointment. 

The biggest problem is probably to look for online shops that sells the shade you want, or if you're patient enough go for a pre-order purchase on your trusted online shops will be a great idea. I'm definitely not a patient girl so I've wondered around for a ready stock solution and I got it!
