IMAE Indonesia 2016 HAUL

Halo! Seperti janji di postingan sebelumnya, aku mau buat post tentang haul dari IMAE Indonesia 2016 (baca postingan sebelumnya DI SINI). Puji Tuhan banget aku juga terpilih sebagai salah satu "Best Makeup" on PAC Beauty Workshop "Spotless Expose" - jadi membuat haul ini semakin banyak aja! :D

Oh iya, aku juga ada video makeup tutorial, menggunakan semuanya produk dari PAC dan Sariayu! (Ternyata ga keburu ngeditnya - will be updated in a separate post!)

Ok, pertama ke Haulnya dulu ya:

Aku dari awal ke IMAE udah ada satu tujuan yaitu: BELI BRUSHES! Yes! Dan dari awal pun aku udah target banget mau beli Lamica brushes karena aku lihat banyak banget blogger di Instagram yang menggunakan brush ini, dan rasanya they work great!

Pas sampai ke boothnya Lamica, ternyata di IMAE ini mereka diskon 10% all item + another 10% dengan menggunakan kartu CIMB Niaga.

Dari Lamica brushes, aku akhirnya beli 3 brushes: 

#111 Flat Contour Brush

#204 Short Eye Shader

#305 Eyebrow Brush (dual ended)

Pertama, Lamica brush ini halussss banget - dan udah beberapa kali pakai sih tapi berasa brushnya itu engga rontok-rontok. Belum coba cuci brushnya, tapi berasa deh kalo engga akan rontok karena kayak apa ya, padat banget gitu brushnya. 

Untuk sekarang, aku paling sering pake yang #204 Short Eye Shader, karena enak banget buat ngeblend eyeshadow di bagian bawah mata. Untuk #305 Eyebrow Brush, buat aku angled brushnya terlalu lembek, jadi untuk aplikasi eyebrow yang powder kurang bisa "on fleek" lol

Nah, sekarang untuk produk-produk dari PAC, 

ada yang aku beli sendiri, dan ada yang aku dapat dari hamper. 

Untuk yang aku beli sendiri, adalah PAC Loose Powder #2;

Warna 02 adalah warna yang disarankan oleh SAnya untuk aku. Tapi pas aku buka kaget juga sih, karena warnanya "pink" banget! Dan packagingnya sendiri, itu lobangnya gede banget, dan tutupnya kurang begitu "sealing". Jadi bisa banget bubuk powdernya kemana-mana. Biasanya kalo begitu, aku selotip beberapa lobangnya biar terkontrol aja banyak powdernya. Cuma untuk ini aku belum sempet selotipin :)

Luckily, itu yang aku swatch kan sangat tebel ya - jadi kayaknya keputihan. Tapi pas kalau di-apply engga segitu putih kok ;)

seperti yang kalian lihat, aku jadi punya 2 loose powder dari PAC! :D Dan satu lagi itu udah 100% pasti kegelapan, so I'm going to do a giveaway soon! :D

Dalam palette district X ini bisa diisi oleh 2 eyeshadows, 1 blusher, 2 lipsticks dan 1 eyeliner - tentunya semua bisa dibeli terpisah, dan customizable! Seneng banget tadi udah kepengen beli district X palette, tapi karena di booth Martha Tilaar super ramai dan laku - banyak shadesnya yang udah sold out. Jadi, ternyata ditakdirkan untuk dapat palette ini sebagai juara dari workshop PAC! :D

Where have I been and HAUL! <3

So, where have I been???

If you’re following me in Instagram, you’ll know that I’ve been on a holiday with my family and we’re on a Europe tour! We visited 4 countries and went to a total of 10+ cities in 2 weeks. A very, very tight scheduled tour, I know – but that’s Asian tours for ya! 

In the good side, we got to see like, a lot, in a short span! I was so tired after the trip and also the jetlag effect hits me hard, I was in a dizzy state the day we arrived. In which resulting in a super idiotic accident and we have to get to the emergency room and I got 5 stitches on my thumb. Very, very stupid incident, but let it be a good experience, don’t go easy after a long haul flight, make sure you rest and ready to do stuff with sharp edges.

Since this is mainly a beauty blog, I’ll post the BEAUTY HAUL first, yey! I’ll consider to post the travel pics and the experience, because it’ll be a very long one and I don’t know I should do it or not since I’ve behind with my review posts. Comment down below if you would like to see one! J

First, I didn’t get a lot of makeup because 1. There’s just no time and 2. I don’t really have anything on my wish list for this trip. To be honest, I planned to NOT buy any cosmetics and I definitely failed at that one mission. Anyhoo, enough with all the reasoning, here’s the haul!

Naked 2 Palette €49

Finally, gave in to the Naked 2 temptation. Honestly, I prefer the Naked 1 palette shade selection, but the packaging is just too flimsy and Naked 3 is just too pink. I bought this palette in Sephora and there’s a sale event so me and my sister got a discount, yey! If only the Naked Smoky palette have launched, I'll probably got that one instead :P 

Next is Mac stuff, I got 2 lipsticks and an eyeshadow palette in Schiphol Airport. 

MAC Lipstick €16,20

I know I said 2 lipsticks, I actually got "Brave" in Indonesia, before the trip, but since I haven't showed it to you guys, so here it is! Brave is a satin lipstick, very neutral but not super nude. Velvet Teddy apparently is a famous shade nowadays, it's the perfect brown pink shade and it's matte - the SA said the shade is getting famous because of Kendall Jenner, though I'm not really sure if this the lipstick she used, but anyway the shade is pretty! Creme Cup is a cremesheen lipstick, it's definitely more sheer than the other shade but the shade still showing up on my lips. 

I like MAC lipstick in general, I like their scent and the lasting power - now kinda regretting why I get everything nude and neutral. Should have bought one brighter shade. 

Eyeshadow x 9 MAC €33

Next is the eyeshadow palette, I've seen this in every MAC store around Europe, and it always sold out and there I found it sitting in Amsterdam. Not really sure if they're in the permanent collection or limited edition, but the originally came in 4 shade selections, and most of the shades are nowhere to be found already. This palette is called "eyeshadow x 9" in "Burgundy Times Nine". They have 4 shade selections, other than burgundy there's amber, navy and purple. 

When I was at this "to buy or not to buy" mode, the SA was like, "Here's the thing, if you're gonna buy it anyway, buy it now - the price is great here and you wouldn't find them again" and I was like, SOLD :D 

The eyeshadow contain small size (just over a half size of their regular sized eyeshadow) and I think you find each shadow in the palette in the individual shade collection. Here's the eyeshadow name list  :

So far so good, I want the "Amber" shade one really!  

Ok, next, still a MAC product, it's their Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium, I heard that they're great, it look great, and I got a voucher from Singapore Airlines so here's what I bought with the voucher! :D

Last one, is something that I got from Jakarta Airport lol - Yes I got this in Lotte Duty Free in Soetta Airport and this is one thing that I have on my wishlist. I've done some researches and it turns out that purchasing this foundation in Indonesia is still cheaper so I bought it just before I took off. I bought this in "Fresco" 2C3 shade. I haven't tried it and I'm not even sure the shade matches my skin or not :(

I did bought this on sale (15% off!) but they only have like 3 shades on stock so I have to look for one that suits my skin tone the best.

MOONSHOT HAUL

Remember that I said I'll be back with some stuffs on my 2nd visit to "Moonshot" store on this POST. Yes I did! I went back during Christmas and bought some stuffs. I've stalked the website quite often and made an imaginary list on stuffs I have to get when I'm there (again)

The visit to the store can be very "pressuring" because of the exclusive-ness and the place itself is really fancy and all. Very, very 부담스럽다. Anyway, because I already have the stuff I wanted in my mind, I quickly test them to see if they look great irl or not, in 10 minutes I already decided what I wanted. Then, I tell the SA what I want and he quickly find all the stuff for me.

Things I got :

1. Color Moonwalk Cream Paint in 106 Bonne Mares
2. Color Moonwalk Stick Extreme in Nude Fiction M802
3. Moonshot Perfection Dark Spot Concealer in Light Medium 01

Outside the stuff that I got, they also gave out some samples for me to try, the pink box is "Concentrate Serum Essential" face oil, I think, and the other is a tinted moisturizer "Multi Protection Skin Tint" in Natural 1 (obviously too light for me)  :

Other then that, they have this promotion going on, for every purchases over KRW 70.000 you'll get a free makeup pouch, and a clutch for purchases over KRW 100.000 :o

And let me tell you, the pouches are very well made. It's really simple and pretty, totally my style hehe!

Overall their service is really top notch. A lot of people been comparing this to Style Nanda's 3CE, and I do think so. Their packaging, and their store concept is pretty similar. The SAs are friendly (some even good-looking, I see tourists from China actually took pictures with the SA. that's cute)

well, actually TOO friendly I think. When I paid my stuffs on the cashier, there's a problem with the connection and it took a while to process. And also the SA actually took a wrong shade of my lipstick, luckily they open the packaging one by one to make sure that the shades are correct. And ofcourse they change to the correct one and make sure again.

While doing all that I spoke in Korean, and while waiting for it I conversed with my friend in Bahasa (duh). The SA was looking at me so strangely, maybe he wondered lah for a bit where does exactly this girl come from. When things are done, the SA gave me another 'sample' in which is a KRW 9.000 value Cotton Pad (I forgot to take a picture of it, it's kinda huge.) and asked a few questions like, where do I come from etc.

And then came a very awkward question for me: "Do you know about this brand before you came here?", so I said, "uuhm.. yes?", then he asked again, "How do you know??"

"......uhm...... (after a few awkward eye contact with my friend)...... because I.... like...k-pop...?"

In case you don't know this cosmetic brand is owned by YG entertainment, home to Big Bang, Jinusean, Lee Hi, and Winner etc - I even knew about this brand from Allkpop!

The SA just smile brightly "Ah... So you like K-pop!" and high-fived my and my friend before we went out. Seriously.......

Maybe it just me, sometimes I'm embarrassed to admit that I like K-pop. But at least I'm being honest! The moral of the story is that even though the SAs look intimidating, they're actually nice! (or definitely trying their best to be nice)

REVIEW : "The Saem" Eyeshadows, Mojito Face Mist and Blusher

Hey! Around last week (last 2 weeks?) “The Saem” had a brand sale and I managed to get some stuff on discount. The Saem products are on affordable side anyway, so I think I got some great deal here.

I think I never reviewed, or even had any The Saem products. It seems like a new world really because I almost never entered The Saem store to look on their products. I got some products, not new products, unfortunately. I purchased stuffs that I had interest in so yeah. Warning, this post is definitely gonna be long!

I got the oh-so-popular facial mist, 3 eyeshadows, a bronzer and a blush! I kinda interested in their lip products, but recently I just have too many lipsticks and I’m kinda overwhelmed. But for eyeshadows, I can’t have enough!

The first product I’m going to talk about is the “Cooling Mojito Water Mist”. I remembered since a year ago one of my Korean friend recommended me this mist, being her holy super grail and she had purchased it more than 4 bottles already. And, she has oily skin and it works superb for her.

I was about to purchase it the time she mentioned it but that time I still had my Evian facial mist so I dropped it. But now, taking advantage of the sale I finally bought it.

It felt super cool when sprayed on the face, God I wish I knew this on the summer because it’ll be the best thing ever happen back then. I see that it doesn’t disturb my makeup when sprayed after I done my makeup.

It does help slight a bit to moisturized my face, and to make my face feel super refreshed. I like to spray it just before I do my makeup, just to re-freshen anything up. Oh, I super hate facial mists that leave a sticky feeling afterward. But this one is definitely not! 

The packaging looks kinda feebly because it’s like cheap plastic, but it’s totally stronger than I thought too. The nozzle sprays fine mist so it won’t make your face ‘wet’ as long as you keep the sprayed amount normal. And it smells like really cool lemon, definitely the nicest smelling mojito I ever smell. 

Overall, I love this mist, but I haven’t got a chance to bring this mist on my bag because the cooling effect isn’t really working outdoor since it’s freezing cold outside right now.

Next on the line is the eyeshadows. Why do I always end up with these similar shades? Anyway, all the shadows I got are matte and they’re in the similar brown-ish tone. The packaging is really similar to MAC eyeshadows, but they’re lid is completely flat. I have no idea what is the difference between the white and black case, but they’re the same product apparently.

03 수줍은 베이지 / 03 shy beige is a warm toned caramel shade that isn’t too far from my skin tone. This shade is a soft contour shade, I can use it for my eyelid or for nose shading. It has a strong yellow tone though, but it really blend well my skin tone. 

27 부드러운 밀크초코 / 27 Smooth Milk Chocolate is a pink toned taupe shade that is getting popular these days. I personally like this color so much. This color can be used alone on the lid and it’ll look that you put an effort to look good.

28 달콤한 다크초코 / 28 Sweet Dark Chocolate is a dark brown shade. I use this for deepen any eye look. Recently I mostly purchased shimmer/satin/glitter eyeshadow, so I’m trying to balance the look out with darker matte shade and I bought this.

All of these shades are powdery; the dust flew away the moment I put my brush in. Which totally make a huge disappointment for me at first. But then, when I swatched it, they didn’t look powdery at all! In the contrary, they look velvety smooth and didn’t look flat. So, make sure to tap off any excess before applying them or you’ll mess up your under eye area.

Overall, they’re affordable and the pigmentation came off nice too. They’re easy to blend and have this sheen that didn’t make them look powdery or flat on the lid. They also stands great alone, it didn’t crease / gone even without any primer underneath.

Next and the last one are the bronzer and the blush. They’re really affordable so I decided to try them.

The bronzer looks a little bit reddish on the pan, but when swatched I think it came out quite on the neutral tone side. The shade is definitely come out quite noticeable in my skin tone. You know, my skin is considered as “dark” in Korean cosmetic world, so it’s quite hard to find a bronzing stuff that actually can show up in my face.

Nothing special about the design or the initial packaging, but can we agree on how pretty the carvings on the pan are? :)

Again, similar to the eyeshadow, this bronzer has a LOT of fallouts. I can see a curtain of dust around when I apply these on my cheek. I noticed that only happen when I use a brush, because when I swatched it with my finger it feels buttery smooth ok. Oh, it also has a slighhhhht floral scent from this product! :) 

The blush sadly didn’t really showed up on my face. But nevertheless I like it because it gives me a slight flush of pink. It has a golden sheen to it, but it didn’t show up completely obvious in my cheek. I think it’ll showed up better for girls with fairer skin tone than mine. Oh, and it’s not a pink – pink, but it’s like a peachy pink so I think it’ll look good for anyone.

Overall, I sometime use the blush but of course I use the bronzer more. Even though the fallouts and the dusts quite are quite annoying, I still like them (and they’re cheap – cheaper than the Tony Moly’s Crystal Blusher). Right now I’m using the big-ass bronzer from Sephora that I like, but since it’s super big I definitely can’t bring it with me of short travel. And I don’t have the TM Bronzer anymore so this is a decent replacement for both I guess!

I’m quite satisfied with everything that I bought from The Saem. I think their brand is very affordable and had some great products too. It's not often that I get to go to The Saem store, but since a new one opened not far from home, I think I'm gonna visit it more often from now :p

Now that i see it, I think the blusher color did showed up on my skin! :p
