REVIEW : NYX COSMETICS LIP LINGERIE #04, #08, #09

I got 3 shades from 12 shades available. All of the shades are nudes and neutrals, most are cool tones and taupe-ish - very kekinian and there's definitely a shade for everyone!

It didn't come with a box and the applicator is on the flat side, the applicator is stiff so it makes exact and clean application easy! 

#04 Ruffle Trim

04 Ruffle Trim is probably my first love from the whole collection, it's my kinda nude, just nude cream mixed with a little bit of coral!

#08 Bedtime Flirt

#08 Bedtime Flirt is similar to #04, but it's a lil bit lighter and nuder - also definitely cooler than #04
I was afraid that 04 didn't came of too nude on me, so I pick this one up to compare!

#09 Corset

#09 Corset is taupish brown - I saw several swatches before I purchase this, and I saw 09 is not that nude. But when I confirmed my purchase, I saw another swatch picture and it turns up to be so pale. But  I guess I should go for a new color so it won't be similar with other lipstick in my collection, but it turns up to be tooo pale for me :(

On the first application, the texture is super heavenly smooth, it's like mousse and it's really smooth on the lips. In seconds, the product sets on the lips and it looks dry - but when both of my lips touched it felt little sticky, felt like they're gonna stick together and cracks so hard.

The stickiness after it sets didn't come off, it kept on being sticky. And after it sets, I just noticed that I have so much lines on my lips :( Really, really emphasise my lip lines, but luckily since all are nude it's not that noticeable. Lasting power is amazing tho and make sure your lips are properly moisturised before application!

Overall, the feeling of when it first applied and after it sets is totally different and kinda disappointing. After all it's something that I really really wanted to try and probably I'm expecting too much from it. 

However, I saw that a lot of more affordable lip creams are more pigmented in color and not a lot of nudes are available, so I'm pretty much happy with the shade selection! In conclusion, even though the feeling in the lips is not the best, the shade is definitely da bomb!

REVIEW : 3CE LIP PALETTE IN #GOSSIP RED

Honestly when I saw this product I shrieked a little since it was so pretty. Anyhoo I got this long before I got to go to Korea, you can say that this is a #throwback post lol since I was so lazy in 2015. I'm trying to keep up here so wish me luck. 

So the packaging, design-wish, love it. Function-wise? Not so much. Unlike the eyeshadow palette, which has totally the same design, just different glass plastic design, I wouldn't miss any mirror or the applicator (which both has none) - but for lipstick, without mirror and no applicator? Blah. 

The product itself was totally out-of-this-world. When I first swatch it, it's so creamy and glossy - so I thought Ok this won't be a lip"stick" palette - it'll be this another lip"gloss" palette. But ohmagerd I was so shocked because the lip palette is so pigmented! 

All the 4 shades have glossy finish. And when you thought lip products with glossy finish aren't long lasting, they're actually stays put ok (even during meals) without leaving stains on the lips. 

#1 is the most sheer and glossy out of the pack. The color payoff is similar to #3, but it's glossier and less pigmented. 

#2 is the one that confuses me out, I questioned it's existence in this palette, why would an orange shade be in a #gossip red lip palette.

#3 it's pink coral, more to orange kinda coral than pink. 

#4 it's the only red in the palette - why would you name it #gossip red, not #gossip orange.

Ok, back again to the product, it's super great, but I don't expect for the palette to be this corally orange when the name is #gossip red 

What I love : The pigmentation, the lasting power (Yes, they stay through meals!), the not-over-the-top gloss

What I don't love : The shades that are too orangey, not too affordable price tag, no mirror and applicator. I found myself not reaching this product as much because it's pretty inconvenient. 

Overall, I love it the formulation, not so much on the design :) it's definitely a surprise for me because it's much better than I expect. I would probably opt for another shades tho since I'm not so much into orangey shade in my lips :(

COLLECTIONS : NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM

Anyway, today I'm bringing you a short review on these NYX soft matte lip creams, I mean, who doesn't know them? So today, instead of focusing on the detailed review in which you can see thousands of them in google, I'll have a short review and collection of shades that I own!

Ok so for the super short review, they're super pigmented, their mousse texture is very light on the lips and lasting power is great. Affordable and have a lot of shades, though I would love to buy more darker shades. But nevertheless the neutrals are da bomb too. They're small but they last a long time.

So to the shade collections :

Currently I have 5 shades and i got them either on the NYX counter in many department store across Indonesia, or if you would like to save a bit and try more shades (not all shades are imported to the Indonesian counter) I suggest you to check indomakeup.com - a very trusted internet shopping site, I got there a lot and I think I got atleast 2 out of 5 from the site. They're a little bit cheaper than the counter and have bigger collections too. If you already decided what shade you would like to get, definitely go online!

#1 STOCKHOLM

is a very pale neutral shade, it has a peachy brownish tone, depend on your natural lip shade could look different from person to person. I love this shade because it's nude but it didn't wash out my complexion, still looks healthy while using this shade.

#2 ISTANBUL

is a subtle baby pink shade. Usually I hate baby pinks in general, in lipsticks or in blushes, but this is a much toned down one so I pretty much obsessed with it. If you wanna go for the true baby pink shade, "Tokyo" is definitely the shade you should look for.

#3 ANTWERP

looks like orange in the picture, but it's more like a coral pink shade. Got this because of Jenn from ClothesEncounter, though in her video it definitely looks much paler and pinker I still love this shade because it compliments a wide range of skin tones.

#4 SAO PAULO

is my first NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream and also one of its best seller shade. It's a tad dark muted pink and it's definitely looks great on everyone. I feel like a super grown up girl whenever I used this shade. Have had this product for a long time and used it like no tomorrow, but still going strong till today! Great investment!

#5 MONTE CARLO

is the darkest shade of this NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Indonesian counter - though NYX already launched more darker color, this still the darkest one you could find offline. The shade isn't as dark as I thought it would be, more like a tomato red so a bit of disappointment in this shade. Texture-wise, still awesome. That's why I'm probably gonna purchase more darker shade of this product.

REVIEW : Sleek Makeup "MATTE ME" in Party Pink

Sleek products seem to have the simplest design, they always go with solid matte black for their product. The applicator is very stiff and straight, but I found the product is easier to apply with applicator such as this one. I checked the website and sadly they only have 6 shades available now, I really hoped they'll make some more! 

As the name suggest, this lip cream is very matte and pigmented. First applied it seems to be sticky on the lips (reminds me of L.A. Girl's) but as the time goes and the product sets, the stickiness disappears. Once it sets, it didn't budge and didn't transfer either! But of course you have to wait until it 100% dries on the lips.

One thing that tickles me is the name of the shade I own, "Party Pink" - and you'll see it's definitely more like a tomato red shade. But below, in my lips swatch, I used the product only on the inside and blend them out, it turns out pretty nicely and the pink actually shows up there! If you would like to create an ombre look, you have to work quick because once it sets, it won't budge. 

After it sets, I don't think it's drying, but it does settles a bit into the lips line but it isn't like super obvious. 

A little tip here, if you do apply lip balm before this product, make sure the lip balm settles in or for much faster process, blot your lips, because if the moisture of lip balm still on your lips, I found that the lip product is harder to blend evenly on the lips. 

Despite of the misleading shade name, I quite like this product! The formulation is just a bit better than what I expected to be and it does everything you expect for a matte lip cream - it's pigmented, it's long lasting and it's matte. 

I do like to blend it a little so that it doesn't look so 'orangey' and that way too the dryness seems to be much bearable during the day!
