Too Cool For School GLAM ROCK Series

Halo semuanya! Hari ini aku membawa suatu berita super baik yaitu Too Cool For School Indonesia punya koleksi baru!! Glam Rock edition! YEY! Oh iya, sedikit cerita tentang Too Cool For School, banyak yang kira TCFS ini adalah brand dari Korea (Aku juga...). TAPI! Sebenarnya, Too Cool For School ini adalah designer brand dari London - New York, hanya mereka memproduksi kosmetiknya di Korea. Pantesan aja, aku selalu ngerasa produk TCFS ini beda dengan brand-brand dari Korea - eh ternyata karena mereka memang bukan brand Korea! :D

Koleksi mereka di-release deket-deket sama Halloween, cocok banget sama ocassionnya karena Koleksi Glam Rock ini penuh dengan design yang lucu dan halloween banget haha! Nah, TCFS Indonesia dengan baik hati mengirimkan beberapa produk dari Koleksi baru Glam Rock ini. Nah, sekarang aku akan bahas satu-satu produk yang aku dapat dari TCFS dan mini review pendapat aku tentang produk-produknya.

BROW EXPRESS

Produk ini berisi 3 eyebrow produk, yaitu 2 eyebrow cake (light and dark) dan eyebrow primer. Untuk mendapatkan bentuk alis yang diinginkan, dalam produk ini ada 3 kuas yang bisa dipakai. Ada spooly brush, angled dan round brush.

Personally, aku jarang banget pake produk eyebrow yang powder karena aku udah terlalu nyaman dengan pensil alis - dan ternyata, pindah ke powder eyebrow tidak terlalu mengganggu apalagi karena brush-brushnya sangat mudah buat dipakai

Mascara ini sangat waterproof - jadi efeknya memang rada clumpy, tapi aku sendiri malah lebih suka mascara yang "clumpy" karena bikin lower lash-ku keliatan lebih banyak HAHA. Packagingnya super suka (siapa sih yang kepikiran buat bikin peti mati untuk inspirasi packaging??). Untuk produknya sendiri aku sebenarnya belum terlalu banyak coba karena akhir-akhir ini aku males banget pake mascara haha.

Untuk eyeshadownya, aku dapat #5 dan #7 - tapi ternyata aku cek di koleksi aku, aku punya #6 jadi sekalian aja aku pajang.

Di tutorial di bawah (I have a video for these products! Jangan lupa ditonton - ada di bagian bawah postingan ini!) Eyeshadownya sangat mudah untuk di-blend dan pigmentationnya luar biasa. Biasanya eyeshadow dengan glitter itu gampang banget ada fall outnya, tapi not with these eyeshadows! My favorite from the whole collection! Aku juga suka banget pilihan shadenya, karena sangat menggambarkan "Glam Rock"

VAMPIRE KISS

Mungkin kalo liat fotonya kaget ya Red Velvet gelap banget! But don't worry - ketika di swatch, warnanya lebih ke red burgundy dan bahkan burgundynya engga gelap-gelap amat. Menurut aku, warna-warna ini memang cocok banget buat Halloween - tapi juga cocok banget untuk Holiday Season kali ini! :D

Vampire Kiss ini mempunyai Satin Finish - dan juga dibuat dari rose flower water, tomato peel, pomegranate, mango, pineapple, papaya, dan ekstra manggis (lol) - bahan-bahannya bener-bener ramah lingkungan ya haha sangat fruity! Tapi lipstiknya engga ada bau-bau kok. Aku suka banget lipstiknya bener-bener gampang untuk di apply, dan bisa banget untuk dibuat gradient lips!

XAKZIUZA

Nah, produk terakhir yang aku mau review sedikit adalah Cleansing Water. Pertama kali aku pake ini, aku engga berharap cleansing water ini bisa hapus semua makeup ku (karena pengalaman belum pernah ketemu yang bener-bener ampuh). TAPI pas aku coba - this might be one of the best cleansing water I've ever tried! Eye makeup dan lip makeup bersih semua! Sedih aku cuma punya yang mini size :")

XAKZIUZA ini TIDAK mengandung parabens, sulfates maupun phthlates - yang membuat produk ini cocok untuk orang-orang dengan kulit sensitif maupun normal, oily, combination, dry - semua deh! 

XAKZIUZA ini juga dibilang bisa jadi skin care yang bisa mengatasi kulit kusam dan tidak merata, dark spots dan minyak berlebih! Wow!

Aku gemes banget sama namanya... HAHAHA karena itu adalah plesetan dari kata korea "싹 지우자" (Ssakjiuja) yang artinya "BERSIHKAN SEMUA" - cocok banget sama gunanya!

Runway Look with Hermo (VOV Runway Multi Cushion & Liner review)

Hari ini aku mau share produk-produk yang dikirim oleh Hermo Indonesia untuk aku dan satu makeu look inspired by "Runway Look".

Kali ini aku punya 3 produk, yaitu:

Pertama, ini look yang aku buat dari produk-produk tersebut, dengan tema "Runway"

Dan untuk review per produknya:

VOV Runway Pro Liner in Black

Ini pertama kalinya aku coba produk dari VOV, baru tahu mereka repackaging banyak banget  produk mereka jadi super bagus-bagus dan lucu gini!

Eyeliner ini ternyata creamy banget, walaupun warnanya engga begitu hitam. Lasting powernya biasa aja, waktu kering emang dia langsung nge-set gitu. Jadi kalau mau pakainya di-smudge harus buru-buru nge-smudgenya. Dan untungnya, di belakang eyelinernya ada brush kecil untuk ngeblend dan ada juga sharpener kecil. Oh iya, ini bukan eyeliner model serut ya, ini model diputer! :D

Overall, aku lumayan suka dengan produk ini. Walaupun lasting powernya engga terlalu bagus, tapi yang aku suka adalah ketika dia "hilang" itu engga terlalu smudge kemana-mana. Misalnya ke bawah mata gitu, apalagi di deket inner corner, itu engga terlalu transfer through out the day!

VOV Runway Multi Cushion Pen #1 Cushion Pink

Produk kedua dari VOV yang aku coba adalah Cushion Pennya, jadi produk ini ada lip cream dalam bentuk retractable dan dengan aplikator cushion di ujungnya. Dengan ujung cushion, produk bisa diaplikasikan tipis-tipis dan mudah banget untuk buat gradation lips. 

Cuma menurut aku, cushionnya gede banget, rada susah untuk aplikasi tipis-tipis, tapi untung warnanya soft banget, and it's definitely different than shades I'm used to. Sampai pas pakai warna ini, temen-temenku sampai "itu Fili pink-pink banget" HAHA

Di video di atas aku pakai produk ini untuk blush dan hasilnya ternyata ok juga! Karena namanya Multi juga kali ya emang mungkin dirancang untuk bisa jadi apapun haha

Produk ini hasil finishnya matte - dan kalau bibir kamu kering, harus hati-hati karena bisa ngeletek bibirnya pas lagi nge-applynya. Lasting powernya juga ok, dan walaupun begitu engga terlalu membuat bibir kelihatan kering, tapi tetap harus hati-hati dengan aplikasinya karena in the end finishnya itu matte :)

REVIEW : Too Cool For School "Artify After School Lunch Box BB Foundation"

Today I'm going to review this super cute BB Cream from "Too Cool For School" called "BB Foundation Lunch Box" XD

Too Cool For School is famous for the school themed brand concept, and this product is not an exception. You can see from the name itself "lunch box" and the design matches its name. It's a 3 in 1 product with BB cream/foundation, cream concealer, and cream highlighter - a one stop for all product. 

The top part opens up to the half-concealer and half-highlighter and it has a small mirror placed on the lid. The base part is filled with BB Cream/Foundation.

The product itself came in 3 shades, with first being the lightest and 3 and being the darkest. Mine is #2 which is the middle shade and it's a shade lighter than my skin tone. 

The BB Cream Foundation has a SPF of 37 PA++ and a slight grayish tone to it. It does brighten my face up, just like old-fashioned BB Creams but it does look unnatural especially under direct sunlight. The BB Foundation is not at all watery, it's more like mousse textured but it's still easily blendable and lightweight. The finish is very, very dewy - a very typical old fashioned BB Cream formulation. 

Since you have to scoop out the product out, please refrain to directly apply the BB Foundation with the applicator if you have troubled skin or you're using it with someone else. Or even if you're using the applicator, make sure you wipe it cleanly first then put it back again.

The cream concealer is rather thick and salmon colored, perfect for covering dark under eye area. This is something that I notice from cream concealer is that if I didn't set it properly it will 100% create smudge panda especially because I like to draw my eyeliner thickly. It's probably me though - anyway you have to set the concealer thoroughly to avoid 'panda eyes' incident.

(since the BB is so dewy already, almost the highlighter is almost unnoticeable when blended)

The cream highlighter have micro glitters and shimmers but it didn't look too much on the face. I'm not someone that use a lot of cream highlighter because of my oily face, unless I do need a little more glam - but I usually prefer powder highlighter more. Cream highlighter is definitely much more natural looking and blend more effortlessly. But since it's included in the 3 in 1 product, I got the chance to try a cream highlighter and you too to if you do purchase this.

As for the coverage, it's light to medium and it's buildable - though the more you build it, the lighter it gets so I usually stop at 1 layer. Oil control is not its best quality, nose starts to look shiny after only 1 hour of application, and at 4-5 hours elapsed the side of nose started to look red again. But other than that I feel this BB Foundation is super light weight. Kinda disagree with the name "BB Foundation" because it's definitely a BB Cream. 

The BB Foundation reminds me of Holika-holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB, but its texture is so mousse-y, and this BB Foundation is definitely not as mousse-y.

Overall, none of the formulation impresses me, it's all average, from the BB Foundation to the concealer and the highlighter. Of course the design and the actual 3 in 1 product is definitely a great appeal for some, the product itself didn't really impress me as much! 

Though I think it still great for those who just started digging in to makeup! Look at that adorable, all in one product, I think it'll be a great gift for teenagers that just started to build up their makeup kit :)
