REVIEW: Innisfree Always New Auto Pencil, Smart Blusher and Skinny Brow Mascara

Hi Everyone! As you may know (again, if you follow my Instagram! I always update there first so go follow @mysugarcoffee) I've collaborated with YES STYLE (yes! that famous website for Korean brand makeup and fashion!) I'm more than excited when I got their collaboration offer in my email. And moreeee excited because the product they want to sent me are all from Innisfree (If you're not here long enough, well I'M AN INNISFREE HOE).

And since they ask me to make a beauty related video so they're sending makeup (obviously). Anddd as much as I love Innisfree, I think I invested more in their skin care than their makeup products so this is a win-win for me. Here's the collaboration video in case you've missed it:

Innisfree Skinny Brow Mascara

As the name suggest, it's Skinny! It's one of Innisfree Skinny line product, I think they have several eye-related product such as Mascara and Eyeliner - and honestly I don't really need a brow mascara since I dyed my hair black.

BUT after using the product, I kept on reaching this and it's easily became my eyebrow routine. Why?

1. It's separate my eyebrow, and coat them so they look thicker!

2. You guys know that bushy-on-the-front eyebrow trend? It's definitely easier to achieve with this product because you can really work on the details

3. It's super pigmented, it make my brow looks so much nicer

4. It last a long day - without any clumps!

Ok, the last point, the no clump one is definitely like a given one because you see how skinny is the wand but the fact that it has sooo many pigments it kinda shook me. I wouldn't expect for a product like this with a super thin wand would have pigmentation so good! Lasting power is also superb! But one thing that I concern about this kinda product is looking at how small the product is, will it last a long time or maybe it'll dry out in 3 weeks? Now that's I have to try longer to see and I'll be back and edit this part for more details.

Innisfree Always New Auto Liner in #10 Juniper Way and #29 Camellia Garden Path

Next one is Innisfree Always New Auto Liner in #10 Juniper Way and #29 Camellia Garden Path - So they asked me to choose 2 shade for eyeliner and lip color respectively. Juniper Way was my second choice because my initial first option was sold out (but I don't remember which one).

Talking about the Always New Auto Liner, i just realized that the way it re-sharpen the pencil is different from the previous version.

As you can see in the pictures there's a different in the old and new version.

In the old version, you need to turn the cap until there's a clicking sound and it'll sharpen itself.

For the new version, you will need to press the bottom part, and it will dispense the liner a bit and then you turn the cap in and you'll have sharper liner. In the new version, the sharping function in the cap won't work it you did not dispense the product. Meaning you can maybe save a bit more product, because in the old version you have to sharpen the product everytime you remove the cap. To be able to securely close the cap, you have to turn it until it clicks, and that means if you're not using a lot, you'll waste a bit of liner everytime you use. I think it's a better improvement!

#10 Juniper Way is medium brown shade with gold glitters. The shade actually is too light for my preference for eyeliner. I prefer darker one. But this shade is perfect if you like a more natural look or using eyeliner for underlining your eyes, I think this eyeliner is perfect for undereye, especially that gold glitters will reflect a bit.

#29 Camellia Garden Path is a bright pink mauve-y shade. I have a lot to say this particular shade - not in a bad way ofcourse. First, I don't use a lot of lip liner nor use one as a full on lip shade. So I thought I'm gonna use it for the video and that's that. The first time I swatched the product, I found out that the texture is very buttery - not what I expect from a lip liner (I always thought they glides on ok but not as far as buttery). Thennnn when I applied in on the lips the pigment just showed on soooo good on the lips, it even covered stains on my lips. Because it was so buttery, I thought I will have to dispense more product - but! even after 1 full lips application it still so sharp there's no need to dispense more :))) and the shade is soooo good to! Lasting power is ok - like a regular lipstick but I'm shook because it didn't dry out my lips.

Easy to sharpen!

Innisfree Smart Blusher in #5 Shy Camellia Flower

The last but not least, Innisfree Smart Blusher in #5 Shy Camellia Flower

The thing that I love about this product is that it's literally already made for blush so it's really easy to blend! Not like other cream blusher that usually you have to be very careful for not over apply - it seems that it's almost impossible to over apply this product. It's texture is like gel, so it's more watery than creme, even with the brush inside I can blend it to perfection (since it's so watery) but without losing its pigment :) Lasting power is ok, because its kinda hard to layer to make it really pop - it looks really natural with this product so it's perfect for you that love natural look. And because of its watery texture, it's also not a problem to blend it over powdered face. But ofcourse blending it on non-powdered face is easier :)

Overall, I love all these 4 products - it seems like with this collaboration opportunity, I can venture out to products from Innisfree that I wouldn't try if I was on the store! I cannot recommend these products enough <3

Nah, produk Oilash ini 100% alami. Mengandung zat-zat natural yang baik untuk merangsang pertumbuhan bulu mata dan alis, ada castor oil, sweet almond oil, virgin coconut oil, rosemary oil, andddd Vit E. oil! :) Setiap pembelian Oilash ini mendapatkan spooly brush untuk mengoleskan oilnya. 

Oilash TIDAK mengandung bahan kimia dan TIDAK mengandung pengawet, pewarna dan pengawet. Jadi, semuanya aman untuk kulit kamu :)

Aku pakai Oilash ini hampir sebulan - dan jujur - tidak terlalu rutin. Karena you see I'm a very lazy person. Dan selama sebulan aku pake, seminggu pertama (pakenya rada bolong-bolong sih aku) I can totally see the difference, terutama di bulu mata bawah aku! :D

Tentunya menurut laman instagram Oilash, hasilnya bisa berbeda-beda untuk tiap orang. Rata-rata seminggu sampai dua minggu setelah pemakaian, akan terlihat perbedaannya. (Bahkan ada orang yang 2 bulan baru terlihat hasilnya!). TAPI kunci dari hasil yang maksimal adalah... RUTIN!

Untuk konsistensinya sendiri, menurut aku lumayan runny. Karena bentuk botolnya adalah botol pipet, dan ada spoolynya sendiri, bisa banget kita overapply. Tapi don't worry karena oil serum ini engga sakit sama sekali kalau masuk ke mata. Mungkin sedikit uncomfortable, tapi lain dari itu engga ada :)

Nah, liat yuk before-after dari pemakaian oil serum sekitar 3-4 minggu di lashes aku:

Sebenernya aku paling suka eyelash bawahku karena jadi lebih panjang! Tapi kamera ku susah banget buat ngambil gambar bulu mata bawah ku. 

Oh iya, aku juga apply ke alis, dan hasilnya alisku numbuh cepet banget (keliatan juga kan di before-afternya!) dan kalau di apply di alis kan kadang engga ke kontrol banget ya applicationnya, jadi bisa banget ke sana ke mari sehingga bulu alis bisa numbuh subur di tempat yang "tidak seharus"nya - so make sure you groom your eyebrow again! :)

For me, I'm very satisfied dan seneng banget karena sekarang engga cuma bulu mata dan alisku tumbuh lebih banyak, bulu mataku jadi super kuat! Engga ada cerita bulu mataku rontok dan terjun bebas ke bola mata! :)

Too Cool For School GLAM ROCK Series

Halo semuanya! Hari ini aku membawa suatu berita super baik yaitu Too Cool For School Indonesia punya koleksi baru!! Glam Rock edition! YEY! Oh iya, sedikit cerita tentang Too Cool For School, banyak yang kira TCFS ini adalah brand dari Korea (Aku juga...). TAPI! Sebenarnya, Too Cool For School ini adalah designer brand dari London - New York, hanya mereka memproduksi kosmetiknya di Korea. Pantesan aja, aku selalu ngerasa produk TCFS ini beda dengan brand-brand dari Korea - eh ternyata karena mereka memang bukan brand Korea! :D

Koleksi mereka di-release deket-deket sama Halloween, cocok banget sama ocassionnya karena Koleksi Glam Rock ini penuh dengan design yang lucu dan halloween banget haha! Nah, TCFS Indonesia dengan baik hati mengirimkan beberapa produk dari Koleksi baru Glam Rock ini. Nah, sekarang aku akan bahas satu-satu produk yang aku dapat dari TCFS dan mini review pendapat aku tentang produk-produknya.

BROW EXPRESS

Produk ini berisi 3 eyebrow produk, yaitu 2 eyebrow cake (light and dark) dan eyebrow primer. Untuk mendapatkan bentuk alis yang diinginkan, dalam produk ini ada 3 kuas yang bisa dipakai. Ada spooly brush, angled dan round brush.

Personally, aku jarang banget pake produk eyebrow yang powder karena aku udah terlalu nyaman dengan pensil alis - dan ternyata, pindah ke powder eyebrow tidak terlalu mengganggu apalagi karena brush-brushnya sangat mudah buat dipakai

VOLUME THRILLER

Mascara ini sangat waterproof - jadi efeknya memang rada clumpy, tapi aku sendiri malah lebih suka mascara yang "clumpy" karena bikin lower lash-ku keliatan lebih banyak HAHA. Packagingnya super suka (siapa sih yang kepikiran buat bikin peti mati untuk inspirasi packaging??). Untuk produknya sendiri aku sebenarnya belum terlalu banyak coba karena akhir-akhir ini aku males banget pake mascara haha.

Untuk eyeshadownya, aku dapat #5 dan #7 - tapi ternyata aku cek di koleksi aku, aku punya #6 jadi sekalian aja aku pajang.

Di tutorial di bawah (I have a video for these products! Jangan lupa ditonton - ada di bagian bawah postingan ini!) Eyeshadownya sangat mudah untuk di-blend dan pigmentationnya luar biasa. Biasanya eyeshadow dengan glitter itu gampang banget ada fall outnya, tapi not with these eyeshadows! My favorite from the whole collection! Aku juga suka banget pilihan shadenya, karena sangat menggambarkan "Glam Rock"

VAMPIRE KISS

#1 Bloody Kiss and #2 Red Velvet

Mungkin kalo liat fotonya kaget ya Red Velvet gelap banget! But don't worry - ketika di swatch, warnanya lebih ke red burgundy dan bahkan burgundynya engga gelap-gelap amat. Menurut aku, warna-warna ini memang cocok banget buat Halloween - tapi juga cocok banget untuk Holiday Season kali ini! :D

Vampire Kiss ini mempunyai Satin Finish - dan juga dibuat dari rose flower water, tomato peel, pomegranate, mango, pineapple, papaya, dan ekstra manggis (lol) - bahan-bahannya bener-bener ramah lingkungan ya haha sangat fruity! Tapi lipstiknya engga ada bau-bau kok. Aku suka banget lipstiknya bener-bener gampang untuk di apply, dan bisa banget untuk dibuat gradient lips!

XAKZIUZA

(ZA SERIES)

Nah, produk terakhir yang aku mau review sedikit adalah Cleansing Water. Pertama kali aku pake ini, aku engga berharap cleansing water ini bisa hapus semua makeup ku (karena pengalaman belum pernah ketemu yang bener-bener ampuh). TAPI pas aku coba - this might be one of the best cleansing water I've ever tried! Eye makeup dan lip makeup bersih semua! Sedih aku cuma punya yang mini size :")

XAKZIUZA ini TIDAK mengandung parabens, sulfates maupun phthlates - yang membuat produk ini cocok untuk orang-orang dengan kulit sensitif maupun normal, oily, combination, dry - semua deh! 

XAKZIUZA ini juga dibilang bisa jadi skin care yang bisa mengatasi kulit kusam dan tidak merata, dark spots dan minyak berlebih! Wow!

Aku gemes banget sama namanya... HAHAHA karena itu adalah plesetan dari kata korea "싹 지우자" (Ssakjiuja) yang artinya "BERSIHKAN SEMUA" - cocok banget sama gunanya!

REVIEW : Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown

After lurking around this product, I finally gave in.

Today I'm bringing you a review for a product that is not a stranger to beauty maniacs as it had been raved by beauty guru around the world - presenting Anastasia Beverly Hills' Brow Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown!

Since this product reviews and swatches are probably everywhere around the world I'm going to review this quickly and focuses on how I like the product for me!

So, I was never a maniac for eyebrow product and I didn't even touch my eyebrow since like, 2 years ago and I've already started writing for my blog. I' don't really care about my eyebrow since I do have sufficient eyebrow hairs and I don't feel the need to groom my eyebrow.

To cut the story short, I finally actually started to groom my eyebrow hair and started to fill them in. Not until recently when I took a close up picture of my eyes and noticed that MY EYEBROWS AREN'T IN THE SAME HEIGHT - yes they were. And I decided to take my eyebrow razor and try to trim the hair day by day slowly and carefully to make them actually in the same height.

That didn't come without any side effects. My brow, that have never been considered being "bald" before, became "bald". Of course lah it doesn't stay bald because I fill them in everyday and things went great UNTIL my eyebrow pencil doesn't actually stands the humidity and sebum level in Indonesia  that during the day it sometimes erased off.

Finally, after a few embarrassing moment of having half-of-my-eyebrow-chopped-off-and-gone-by-the-day I decided to cave in and purchase this product - mostly because a lot of people claimed that it's very very waterproof and sweatproof you don't have to worry about it anymore.

ABH dipbrow pomade retails for USD 18 and while I purchased mine for IDR 298.000 from @dejoyofmakeup (Instagram). This product is probably ABH's best seller - especially in Indonesia and ABH has been know for their brow product since like forever. If you're in Indonesia, I think it's not hard to look for one in your trusted online shops. I recommend you to check Indomakeup.com because I think they sold ABH dipbrow pomade for the lowest price (IDR 258.000)

The product is great, it's like gel liner for the brow. Didn't come with a brow brush so you have to have one. I recommend to look for an angled brow brush. Personally, I thought medium brown will be the best shade for me, but I still find that it's too dark for my liking. But after a few (a lot) trials and errors I can finally make it work to my liking.

This product would be perfect for those who want to amp up their brow game, especially for those who have thin brow hairs. This product is great to combined with heavier / smokey eye looks - If you like to rock heavy brow look daily then it's great for daily too. I don't usually do heavy brows so I did it with a very, very light hand.

I can't recommend this to those who just started doing their eyebrows, because even for me I still have to adapt and try to make it work for my brow. There's time when I went out looking like shinchan.

I think this product is a very good brow product, it's water proof and budge proof - it's just stay there forever until you decided to erase it. And it looks very natural and you can control the thickness of the shade. Personally, for daily makeup I still prefer my eyebrow pencil because it's faster to work with and less dramatic for eveyrday. Ofcourse when I have my 'bald' brow days, I have to use this to cover the baldness lol
